Giuseppe Zanotti The Backstage Capsule Collection A special series for Fall Winter 2017

Inspired by the pre-show atmosphere of a music concert, Giuseppe Zanotti AW17 aimed to combine and embody the sense of anticipation, colour and creativity that follows it into one shoe collection.
The backstage capsule collection featured designs for men, women, and children, all completed with a unique flocking finish that allowed them to stand out from the crowd. This choice of finish equipped the shoes with a luxurious sheen and ensured the presence of a vibrant long-lasting neon fuchsia tone that so perfectly embodies the mood of the backstage environment prior to a concert. 
Built into a sneaker design, ‘THE UNFINISHED’ is fitted with a zip, crisp white shoelaces and a chunky flatform. Possessing a range of different focal points, Zanotti ensured that his design remained as contemporary as possible. Most exemplary of his innovative approach, however, is ‘MISS UNFINISHED’, the fuchsia curved wedge sandal. Curved at the ball of the foot and devoid of a chunky heel, the design creates an illusionistic means of height and elegance that draws the eye to its unique outline. Simultaneously expressive of streetwear and timeless glamour, ‘MISS UNFINISHED’ aptly illustrates Zanotti’s ability to fuse two distinct styles into a fashionable, yet wearable collection.
