MM6 SS18: Finding beauty in simplicity

Focusing on the sense of beauty that can be borne from simplicity, MM6 created a collection that was bold yet minimalistic in its approach. 

Priding itself on its economic use of materials, MM6 innovatively created shapes and outlines with a noticeably polished feel. Comprised of polka dots and stripes, a flowing dress was nothing short of eye catching; encased in plastic, denim trousers were fitted with symmetrical panels and a chain detail. The imaginative utilisation of materials was most successfully illustrated by a long, slim line denim dress finished with a cold shoulder style; taking the notion of double denim to a whole new level. 

Minute details became intrinsic to the overall effect that an outfit had, most notably proven by a suit and trouser combo completed with a metallic imitation of sleeves and a collar, allowing the outfit to stand out against typical formal wear.

Through use of minor details and inventive use of materials, MM6 SS18 demonstrated the sense of style that can manifest from a simpler approach.
