COTTWEILER’s new collection turned a dark show location into a luminous subterranean lake. “From subterranean lakes of the Krizna Jama cave network” - a precise description of this fall/winter 2018 collection. From the reflection of blue printed shiny fabrics with leather, this adventure began. Gradient hue is back to trend this season, and it is indeed everywhere: Sies Marjan, Carolina Herrera, as well as the luminous, mineral textured fabrics as also seen on Christian Siriano’s new collection. The Mulberry bags are some very interesting add-ons: especially the classic cross-body with a gradient blue&green dyed leather, and a small cobalt blue leather box - a more stylish replacement for modern men’s handbag collection. Here’s a good blend of various elements to show what Weiler would like to express: The climbing accessories, laser-cut leather, distressed nylon, metallic jacquard and merino wool, these are the components to make this collection futuristically organic.
